To understand why this happens, you must understand HyperSpin’s architecture. HyperSpin itself is just a pretty picture frame. It does not emulate anything. The error occurs when the HyperSpin frontend loses communication with its execution engine, RocketLauncher (formerly HyperLaunch) . When you select a game on your arcade wheel and press launch, HyperSpin attempts to pass the command to the launcher. If the configuration paths, execution modes, or administrative permissions are misaligned, the system breaks down.
