The safest and most reliable place to start your library download is from the official DipTrace website. These libraries are vetted, tested, and guaranteed to work with your version of the software.

Beyond the official libraries, there are several other ways to augment your component and pattern database. These include downloading pre-made libraries from third-party sites, importing from other EDA formats, and creating custom libraries. While the official libraries are comprehensive, they may not include every manufacturer-specific or obscure component. Fortunately, there are excellent alternatives.

Eagle libraries are widely available across the internet. To import them: Open the DipTrace or Pattern Editor . Go to Design > Import > Eagle . Select the .lbr file you downloaded and click open.
