Once you have purchased or downloaded a 3D model (usually in .USDZ or .OBJ format), importing it into Procreate is simple. On your iPad, locate the downloaded model file and tap on it. From the sharing options, select "Copy to Procreate". Procreate will then automatically open and install the model into a new canvas within your gallery. Once imported, you can immediately start working. The model will appear in the center of your canvas, ready for you to zoom, rotate, and draw. Ensure you have the correct layer selected. If you can't paint, tap the area of the model you wish to draw on—it will flash blue to confirm your selection.
