Measure resistance across the black/red wire to ground. It should typically read 300–500 ohms.

Turn the pilot mixture screw clockwise until it gently bottoms out (do not force it). Back the screw out 2 full turns. Start the engine.

Check if fuel is reaching the cylinder (wet spark plug). Spark: Test spark plug. Replace with NGK D8RTC if weak. 162fmj Engine Service Manual

Insert a 0.05 mm feeler gauge between the valve stem and the rocker arm adjuster screw. If it is too tight or loose, loosen the locknut, turn the adjuster screw until there is a slight drag on the feeler gauge, and tighten the locknut while holding the screw in place.

The is a widely used 150cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke "CG-type" engine commonly found in motorcycles and ATVs from manufacturers like Lifan and Zongshen. Because it is a generic Chinese-manufactured engine, you won't always find a single "official" manual, but rather technical guides for the specific model it mimics—the classic Honda CG125/150. Low compression (indicates worn rings or tight valves). Kill Switch: Ensure the kill switch is off. 4.2. Top-End Overhaul (Piston and Rings) If the engine consumes excessive oil or lacks power:

Most people change the oil but never remove the clutch cover to clean the mesh screen. The manual dedicates a full page to cleaning this screen every 6 months. A clogged screen starves the connecting rod bearing, leading to a seized engine. Back the screw out 2 full turns

: Remove the top valve cover (held by three 10mm bolts). Remove the timing inspection plugs from the left-side stator cover.

Place an oil catch pan under the engine. Remove the oil drain plug (located at the bottom of the crankcase).

Clean or replace every 1,000 miles, or more often in dusty conditions. Service Manuals & Resources
