Reshade Ray Tracing Shader Rtgi 033 2021 Online
Download ReShade from its official website. Run the installer, select your game’s .exe file, choose the correct rendering API (DirectX 11, DirectX 12, or Vulkan), and download the standard standard effects packages (like SweetFX or qQuint).
Keep this between 8 and 12 . Higher steps allow light to travel further across the screen but stress your GPU.
While true multi-bounce ray tracing is incredibly taxing on hardware, RTGI 0.33 uses clever mathematical approximations to simulate a second light bounce. This prevents corners from looking overly dark and creates a much softer, more natural distribution of ambient light. System Requirements and Prerequisites reshade ray tracing shader rtgi 033
Launch your game and open the ReShade overlay (default key: Home ). You should see qUINT_rtgi.fx (or similar) listed among your available effects. Activate the effect. The initial screen will likely look distorted or black. This is due to an incorrect depth buffer setup. Navigate to the "Add-ons" tab in ReShade to view the available depth buffers. Toggle between the options until you see a split-screen view (often half-color, half-grayscale). Once the correct buffer is found, return to the "Home" tab and deactivate the DisplayDepth effect used for testing. The RTGI effect should now be active.
: Version 0.33 features a more "stable" denoiser, reducing the "flickering" or "boiling" effect common in older screen-space implementations. Download ReShade from its official website
Go to the "DX11/DX12/Vulkan" tab in ReShade and ensure the correct depth buffer is checked. If your depth buffer is inverted or broken, look for the Edit Global Preprocessor Definitions button on the Home tab and toggle RESHADE_DEPTH_IS_REVERSED between 0 and 1.
Once activated, you will see 15+ sliders. Here is the optimal starting point for 1080p/1440p gaming. Higher steps allow light to travel further across
This simulates "color bleeding" (e.g., a red wall casting a red tint onto a white floor).
Has anyone found a "perfect" preset balance for 0.33 yet? I’m currently tweaking the Radius and Depth settings to try and minimize the ghosting effect in fast-paced scenes. Drop your screenshots and settings below!
ReShade’s RTGI shader has been updated to version 0.33, and the jump in visual fidelity is insane. Pascal Gilcher has outdone himself this time.
