Directed by veteran comedy filmmaker Indra Kumar, Total Dhamaal was released worldwide on February 22, 2019. The film serves as a standalone sequel to Dhamaal (2007) and Double Dhamaal (2011).

The movie revolves around the lives of three friends, Amar (Ajay Devgn), Viru (Arshad Warsi), and Dinesh (Tusshar Kapoor), who were inseparable in their childhood. As they grow older, their friendship is put to the test when they discover a treasure map that leads them on a wild adventure. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, including a beautiful woman named Aarti (Kunal Khemu's sister, Pooja Bhabhi, and other supporting actresses).

From the bustling streets of Mumbai to the serene valleys of Ladakh, the chase is punctuated by an ever‑growing list of side‑plots: a secret love triangle, a fake death, an accidental kidnapping, a reality‑show‑style “hunt,” and a parade of cameo appearances that feel like Easter‑egg hunting in themselves.
