Sometimes your characters refuse to walk through an open gate or up a set of stairs, constantly running in circles instead. This usually means the navigation mesh (NavMesh) is broken.

. It is the universal "band-aid" for Kenshi’s engine quirks.

That said, it is incredibly useful for players. You can use it to edit the world around you, fix quest and location bugs, and even teleport your squad.

Use W, A, S, D to move the camera independently of your squad.

If a building or object is misplaced, you can manually edit it.

Displays the invisible "spheres of influence" that dictate which faction owns which piece of land.

Technical Note: High-resolution texture packs are the most common culprit. They consume memory needed for collision meshes.

: Improperly clicking on factions or NPCs while the editor is open can occasionally bug out relations, making your own squad members see each other as enemies [12].

Use this tool to fix walls, sink floating buildings, and remove that one stupid tree. Just don't go spawning 50 Cat-Lons unless you want to watch your PC melt.
